SPECIAL TROPICAL CHRISTMAS
We return to that place where it all began. Where beautiful coincidences forged friendships for a lifetime. Where this project was born that seeks to unite women from all countries and cultures to enjoy the sea, yoga, nature and above all, to enjoy this journey called life. Back to the Roots is a Surf, Yoga, Adventure and Culture retreat dedicated to woman and in collaboration with Enraizadas.
A week in which we will discover what life is like in Sri Lanka and at the same time we will support various local women’s projects. Because that’s what we are here for, to help, support and empower each other. Join us for a very special retreat that we want to share with you after such a long time without being able to travel so far…

THE LOCATION
Sri Lanka is the pearl of the Indian Ocean and the land of coconut trees.
Despite being a relatively small island, Sri Lanka will surprise you with beautiful golden beaches, a variety of landscapes, through the highlands, monkeys and aquatic birds. Feel the warm hospitality of its people and get to know the taste of Ceylon black tea while exploring the tea plantations between rice fields.
We encourage you to discover your own serendipity and we are excited and happy to share our slice of paradise with you.
THE VILLA
Lanka Yoga is on Koggala lake in a little-know village of Duwa. Just a short TukTuk drive away from the beautiful white sandy beaches and famous Sri Lankan Surf Spots.
The venue itself is one of a kind. Located on the water’s edge, it offers a calm alternative to the sometimes-hectic nature of the beachside options.
The villa itself offers large bedrooms, open plan living and eating, a decking and infinity pool overlooking the lake, and many hidden nooks and crannies.
The second building is the hidden guest block under the grass next to the villa, here four smaller individual rooms look out over the lake with a generous balcony area.
The third buiding is the Yoga Shala buidindg. With the 110sqm Yoga Shala, storage, office, communal bathrooms and massage space. All rooms, common areas and the Yoga Shala are equipped with fans.

Payment Policy
70% of the cost of the retreat must be paid at the time of booking to secure your place.
The balance of about 30% is to be paid in cash on day of arrival in EUROS.
Cancellation Policy
· Up to 3 months before the retreat, you can cancel at any time 100% refund
· Up to 2 months prior to the start of the retreat – 50% refund
· Less than 45 days prior to the start of the retreat – no refund
Terms and Conditions
If My Serendipity & Enraizadas has to cancel the retrat due to unforeseen reasons, you will get full refund of your payment or you’re entitled to transfer your full payment to another scheduled retreat.
It is not the responsibility of My Serendipity & Enraizadas of your expenses regarding your preparation to join our retreat, such as travel costs, insurances, accommodation as part of your trip, or any other costs that are not included in the retreat.
SURF
You can either learn to surf for the first time or bring your surfing to the next level by joining our intermediate surf groups. We offer a variety of different surf level courses in order to offer the right surf class to everyone.
Our surf program includes material, theory lessons and on land training. In addition, we talk about the philosophy of the sport and its lifestyle and how it can help you overcome your fears.
YOGA
Living in the moment, listening to our bodies and minds. Our yoga classes are focused on all levels.
We will practice different styles: Vinyasa Flow, Hatha, meditation and Yin Yoga.
During our week we will also learn to love our perfect imperfections.
Our highlight will be the SUP Yoga, where we will paddle with our SUP’s on the nearby river to a quiet spot in the middle of the jungle. We will combine our yoga practice with the sound of nature and the silence of the water. It is truly a special experience.
